22 July, 2015.
I was so excited, curios & nervous with the day coming to an end. The clock stroke 11:00 pm. My heart was beating faster with every passing minute. “Tring Tring” my cellphone beeped with a blinking light after half & hour. “Hell Yeah!” it was an SMS from Allen Tuladhar Sir. My happiness knows no bounds when I got to see that I was selected as Microsoft Student Partner 2016. I was brimming with enthusiasm and excitement of finally achieving my dream.
My journey as MSP started with Millennium Model college where I gave my first ever presentation on Imagine Coding Camp. My legs were shaking; my voice was weirdly vibrating; sometimes I was numb in front of audience. But one after another events gradually I learned from my every mistakes. Slowly I grew & enhanced my skills. During my tenure, I hosted & presented on more than 30 technical sessions.
Fortunately, I got chance to volunteer at “TechCamp Nepal” which was hosted by US Embassy Nepal. Though my presentation were not up the mark, though my ideas might be so brilliant but I was glad & proud enough that I could explore myself in front of hundreds of national & international high level officials & personalities.
MSP Summit 2015 is something which will remain unforgettable throughout my life. Busy schedules, MSP interactions, cultural show, my performances, delicious foods, dance party, late night chit chats, morning jumba dance, talent shows… ahhhh!!! I still can rejoice every bit of it.
I believe, applying for Microsoft student partner was one of the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. So many golden opportunities, certifications, so many connections, so many friends & moreover so many memories for lifetime. My journey has been a very fun & fruitful one because I’ve chosen to make the best of every challenge that I’ve had along the way no matter what.
